Installation guide for Add-A-Bathroom Modular Bathrooms.

Add-A-Bathroom Modular have been assembled and checked in our modern production facility and are normally delivered disassembled for reassembly on-site. Flexible plumbing and internal fittings may have been pre-fitted and provided separately for ease of installation, dependant upon individual order.

No specialised tools are required to install an Add-A-Bathroom Flat Pack Bathroom. Installation of the Modular usually require 2 competent people. All electrical and plumbing work must be performed by appropriately licensed contractors.

	The bathrooms are supplied as 8 panels with pre-drilled fitting holes and with fixings supplied.
	Place the floor panel down first, and bolt to it one end panel. Do not tighten fixings until all parts are reassembled. Similarly bolt on the remaining wall panels. Lift the ceiling panel into position and bolt. Ensure all internal joints are straight and true.
	Tighten fixings and apply the supplied or appropriate sanitary grade silicone sealant to panel joins.
	Refit any factory supplied flexible pipework, or have your plumber install hot and cold pipework.
	Have the plumber install the sewer pipes and bring in the hot and cold water supplies.
	Your Flat Pack Bathroom is now ready for installation.
	Manoeuvre the bathroom into it's final position.
	Connect the sewer pipework first, then the hot and cold plumbing, to the fitted connection points.
	Construct standard stud wall framing around exposed walls of bathroom, ensuring framing is hard against bathroom walls where possible. Create door frame to suit required door installation.
	Have your electrician install electrical wiring.
	If a window is to be installed, accurately mark location and mark cut lines with marker. Cut the bathroom walls using a fine carborundum or diamond disc with an angle grinder. Create external wall opening and fit window with reveal flush to bathroom wall face. Install architrave.
	Trim bathroom door opening (as per window) so as to align with installed door frame.
	Install plasterboard or other desired external wall lining.
	Install door jamb (note a wider than normal jamb may be required) ensuring a 15mm minimum protrusion into bathroom. Scribe quad to wall and door jamb join, or rout architrave to suit.
	Final fit any electrical and install all internal fittings and accessories.
	Install door, finish and paint externals, and hang your towels. Job done!
